Gin with honey and lemon

Ingredients:

Cocktail

• 230 ml of gin
• 120 ml lemon juice
• 120 ml honey syrup, see recipe below
• Lemon zest, for garnish

Honey simple syrup

• 1/2 cup honey

Preparation:

1. In a shaker filled with ice, vigorously shake gin, honey syrup and lemon juice.
2. Strain into chilled cocktail glasses. Garnish with lemon zest.
   
   Honey simple syrup:
   
   In a small saucepan, heat the honey and 1/2 cup water over medium heat until completely dissolved. Cool to room temperature before using.
