Hawaiian Grilled Beef topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 700 g beef tenderloin, cut into 0.5 cm strips
- 1 pineapple, peeled and sliced lengthwise
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- A 1.5 cm piece of fresh ginger.
- 1 crushed clove of garlic
- 1.5 tsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped mint leaves
Preparation:
- Mix soy sauce, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, and water. Marinate the meat in this mixture overnight in the refrigerator, placing it in a plastic bag.
Preheat the grill to high. Thread the meat onto skewers. Grill over hot coals until desired doneness is achieved, about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
Place the pineapple chunks on the grill. Grill on both sides until the natural sugars brown and grill marks appear, about 2 minutes per side.
Place beef skewers on grilled pineapple pieces and garnish with mint.
