Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup plus 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons plus 2 more teaspoons dark sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 4 cloves of finely chopped garlic
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil, divided into several parts
- 600 g large peeled shrimp (20–25 pieces)
- 110 g softened butter
- Juice of 2 limes
- About 10 cm piece of finely grated fresh ginger
Preparation:
- In a bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, lime juice, honey, ginger, garlic, and 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Add softened butter and mix until smooth.
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper and toss. Place on a preheated grill and cook in one position for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
