Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup doenjang (Korean soybean paste)
  • 0.5 cup sesame oil + more if desired
  • 1/4 cup coarsely ground toasted sesame seeds, crushed in a mortar
  • 2 tablespoons ground Korean gochukaru pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 Fresno peppers, finely chopped
  • 2 serrano peppers, finely chopped

Preparation:

  1. Combine the doenjang, sesame oil, sesame seeds, gochukara, sugar, garlic, and chili peppers in a medium bowl. Add an additional tablespoon of sesame oil, if desired. Store in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container for up to 7 days..
