Spicy Green Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup spinach
  • Half a cucumber
  • Half a serrano pepper
  • 45 ml silver tequila
  • 20 ml lime juice
  • 7 ml. agave syrup

Preparation:

  1. In a blender, combine 1 cup baby spinach, 1/2 of a chopped seedless cucumber, 1/2 of a serrano pepper (remove seeds to reduce heat), and 1/4 cup water; puree until smooth and strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
  2. For one Margarita, combine 45 ml each of green juice and silver tequila, 20 ml of lime juice, and 7 ml of agave syrup in a shaker with ice. Strain into an ice-filled glass rimmed with chili-lime relish. Garnish with a cucumber slice.
