Cuban Ham Sandwich topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- Yellow mustard, to taste
- 1 loaf Cuban bread or other soft bread, cut in half on the sides
- 170 g thin slices of baked pork
- 170 g thin slices of ham
- 170 g thin slices of Swiss cheese
- 6-8 slices of pickled cucumbers
- Melted butter for greasing
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 220°C.
- Spread mustard on the slices of bread. Place the roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles in the middle.
- Brush the outside of the sandwich with melted butter and wrap in foil. Place between two baking sheets and press down with a heavy skillet.
- Place the entire sandwich in the oven and bake until heated through and the cheese is melted, about 20 minutes. Let cool slightly, then unwrap and cut into 4 pieces.
