Ingredients:
- 1 package (280 g) marshmallows
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 5 cups rice flakes (breakfast cereal)
- 3/4 tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate mini granules
Preparation:
- Line a 9-inch square baking pan with foil, leaving a 1-inch overhang on each side for unmold; lightly spray the foil with cooking spray.
- Place the marshmallows and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Add the cereal and continue stirring until well coated. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Press the mixture firmly with your hands (spray your hands with cooking spray to prevent sticking). Set the dessert aside to cool. Pull the foil tabs to remove the dessert from the pan and cut into bars.
