Just Add Water: Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup quick-cooking oats
- 2 pieces dried fruit, chopped
- 1 tbsp apple butter
- 1 tbsp. raisins
- 0.5 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon light brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
- Special equipment: 250 ml heat-resistant container with lid
Preparation:
- Place the rolled oats, dried apples, apple butter, raisins, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt in a 250ml heatproof container.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- When you are ready to use, add 0.5 cups of boiling water, stir gently and cover until the oats and dried apples are soft, about 3 minutes.
- Stir and eat the porridge warm.
