Panna cotta with fresh berries topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tbsp. l. powdered gelatin
- 3 cups whipping cream
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 2 cups assorted fresh berries
Preparation:
- Pour the milk into a small bowl. Add the gelatin. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes to soften the gelatin. Pour the milk mixture into a heavy-bottomed saucepan and stir over medium heat until the gelatin dissolves, but don't let the milk boil, about 5 minutes. Add the cream, honey, sugar, and salt. Stir until the sugar dissolves, 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Pour the mixture into six wine glasses, filling them only halfway. Cool slightly. Refrigerate until the panna cotta is completely set, for at least 6 hours.
Place berries on top and serve.
