Swedish Mini Meatballs in the Air Fryer

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of white bread
  • 0.5 cups of milk
  • 220 g of ground beef
  • 220 g of minced pork
  • 1/4 onion, grated
  • 3/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 large egg
  • Cooking spray to spray
  • Lingonberry jam, for serving
  • Special equipment: air grill with a capacity of 3.5 liters.

Preparation:

  1. Place the bread in a medium bowl and soak in milk for 5 minutes. Squeeze out any excess milk and tear the bread into bite-sized pieces. Mix the bread with the ground beef, pork, onion, allspice, egg, 1 teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of freshly ground black pepper. Form into small balls, each about 1 tablespoon in size.
  2. Spray the basket of a 3.5-quart air fryer with cooking spray and fill it with the meatballs. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and cook, shaking the bowl once, until the meatballs are golden brown and cooked through, about 10 minutes. Serve with lingonberry jam.
