Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 and 1/4 tbsp. peanut butter granules
- 4 tsp. confectionery fat
- 4 cups crispy breakfast cereal squares
- 0.5 cups salted roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped
- White nonpareil, for decoration
Preparation:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter granules, and shortening in a large heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water (the bottom of the bowl should not touch the water). Stir until melted and smooth, 2-4 minutes. Remove the bowl from the saucepan and stir in the cereal and peanuts. Stir with a rubber spatula to distribute the mixture evenly.
- Spoon the mixture into 2 tablespoon heaps onto the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with white nonpareils. Refrigerate until the glaze sets, about 30 minutes.
